Smile Design Lab is an established dental laboratory based in the North West of England providing all aspects of crown & bridge, veneer and implant work to dentists and patients through out the UK and trust that your experience with us to be positive. We are a DAMAS approved laboratory dedicated to first class standards to all our clients. Smile Design Dental Laboratory was established in 2010 by Tautvydas Butkus.

SERVICES

Here at smile design we pride ourselves on the exact match of our crowns to natural teeth. To ensure the accurate shade, shape and texture is achieved we offer to match it personally, either at our premises or visiting clients at their surgeries. One of our ceramic technicians will ensure that an accurate shade is taken and that any queries are answered. The patient experience will be such that they’ll simply view us as an extension of your team.

IMPLANTS

Whether you need a single restoration or a large bridge, implants are a very viable and practical option. We have a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the field of Implant dentistry and it is a significant part of our business. At Smile Design we work with a variety of leading implant systems such as Straumann. Noble Biocare, Ankylos, Astra, Osstem, Bio Horizons plus most key brands toensure that we have options available for every requiement.

VENEERS

This area of dentistry has made significant advances over the last 20 years and patients are now expecting results that are longer lasting with great beauty. With the new and improved materials such as pressable, milled and fieldspathic porcelains along with CADCAM technology allow us to produce veneers in the thinnest possible sections with minimal tooth reduction. Additionally these products can hide any discolouration whilst providing the same translucency, depth of colour and fluorescence found in natural teeth.

METAL CERAMICS

All though metal ceramics may be considered to of been overtaken by all ceramics restorations the conventional metal ceramics will always be an option due to their robust durability and exceptional masking properties allowing for good aesthetics when an all ceramic solution is not viable. For our porcelain bonded crowns and bridges we offer a range of alloys along with our production process ensures great aesthetics and optimum functional occlusion can be achieved.

CERAMICS

The all ceramic restoration is the ultimate in aesthetics and has become the main option of private dentistry in the last few years. Our metal free restorations are CADCAM designed milled in-house and can be manufactured in materials such as Zirconia Oxide, Felspathic or Pressed Ceramic, Emax, Vitablocs TriLuxe Forte or Vita Enamic. All ceramic restorations enables us to deliver outstanding aesthetics with the most predictable shade matching even for the most difficult cases as it reacts to light in a very similar as natural teeth.
